And, I suppose, this is another answer to the question about why their expansions have levels. 95-100 covers several expansions worth of content, often gated by various quest lines and by levels of difficulty that can vary greatly.įor all the problems WoW has, knowing where to go generally isn’t one of them. This is made more difficult by the fact that there is quite a bit of overlap when it comes to zones in a given level range. I could still be swamped if I wasn’t at least a bit self-aware. Those that I could not solo were generally doable with a merc, though I did have to be careful not to pull half the zone. That boost came with a set of gear that was better than any drop I received over the length of the Withered Land and, aside from Ovilas there, I was able to face most foes solo.

Sigwerd had made it up to level 70 when I took one of the occasional free boosts that Daybreak hands out and jumped him to level 95. And what do these valuable keys open? Why, treasure chests of course! These all new valuable keys open a new set of treasure chests scattered throughout the Wastes.I couldn’t best him either solo or with a merc healing me, so it looked like I ought to find a new path in order to get to level 100. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts! Completing the heroic level timed treasure hunts grants a dirty key that has a greater chance of rewarding a more valuable key than the dirty keys acquired from solo level timed treasure hunts. But be forewarned – the heroic versions of these quests are tough, and time won’t be on your side! Timed treasure hunts return for GU100 – this time in Zek, the Scourge Wastes! Search the solo version of the Wastes for the solo level timed treasure hunts, or bring friends to the heroic wastes and take your chances with the heroic level timed treasure hunts.
